Hers weight loss review (2026): pricing, membership, pros and cons

Direct answer · October 15, 2026

As of October 15, 2026, Hers sells brand GLP-1 medicines from $149 a month (Wegovy pill, Foundayo, Ozempic pill) to $299 (Zepbound), and every prescription also needs a Hers Weight Loss Membership at $39 for the first month and $149 a month after, so the lowest ongoing total is $298 a month.

The same $149 starting-dose pills cost $149 at NovoCare or LillyDirect with no membership, though you need your own prescription there.

Verdict

Hers now sells brand-name GLP-1s only, at least on the homepage line-up we could read (its /weight-loss page returned 403 errors). The medication prices track the manufacturers’ self-pay prices: the Wegovy pill, Foundayo and the Ozempic pill from $149 a month, the Wegovy pen and Ozempic from $199, and Zepbound from $299. The catch is in the footnote: “An active Hers Weight Loss Membership is required ($39 for the first month, auto-renews at $149/month thereafter)”, and “Medication is not available without a membership.”

So the real monthly cost is the drug plus $149: $298 for a starting-dose Wegovy pill or Foundayo, $348 for the Wegovy pen and $448 for Zepbound, before any dose increase (the “From” prices are starting doses). Over a year the membership alone is $1,678. You are paying that for the prescribing visit, follow-ups and convenience, because the medication itself costs the same at NovoCare and LillyDirect.

That can be worth it if you have no prescriber, but price it honestly. The membership “does not include or guarantee a prescription”. This site has not yet scored Hers on methodology v4.1 (v4.1 score pending).

Alternatives to compare

Every program we track, with read dates, is in the GLP-1 pricing database.

Before you pay

  1. Find the ongoing price. Words like “first month”, “from”, “as low as” or “sale” mean the number beside them is not what month two costs.
  2. Add any membership and ask, in writing, the price at your maintenance dose.
  3. Ask what happens if you stop early on any plan longer than one month.
  4. Ask which pharmacy fills the prescription and whether it is a 503A or 503B facility, then check its licence with the state board of pharmacy.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Hers weight loss cost in October 2026?

On October 15, 2026 Hers listed brand GLP-1s from $149 a month (Wegovy pill, Foundayo, Ozempic pill), $199 (Wegovy pen, Ozempic) and $299 (Zepbound), medication only. A Hers Weight Loss Membership is also required: $39 for the first month, then $149 a month. The lowest ongoing total is $298 a month.

Is the Hers membership required?

Yes. The footnote on Hers’ page says an active Hers Weight Loss Membership is required, that medication is not available without one, and that the membership does not include or guarantee a prescription. It costs $39 for the first month and auto-renews at $149 a month.

Does Hers sell compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide?

No compounded GLP-1 price appeared in the weight-loss line-up on the Hers homepage we read on October 15, 2026. Its dedicated weight-loss page returned an error, so ask Hers directly if you are looking for a compounded option. Hims, run by the same company, also showed only brand drugs on its September read.

Is it cheaper to buy Wegovy or Zepbound direct?

Usually, if you already have a prescription. NovoCare sells the Wegovy pill from $149 and LillyDirect sells Zepbound from $299 with no membership, the same medication prices Hers shows. Through Hers you add $149 a month for the membership. That buys the prescriber and follow-up, which the manufacturer pharmacies do not provide.
