Mochi Health vs TrimRx: what each one shows and what to ask

Direct answer · October 15, 2026

As of October 15, 2026, neither Mochi Health nor TrimRx gives a compounded GLP-1 price you can compare: Mochi’s weight-loss page showed a “$199/12mo | $17/mo” membership and brand-drug prices but no compounded price, and TrimRx’s pricing page did not render beyond its title, “Plans From $179/mo”.

Both are listed without a price rank. Their structures differ: Mochi bills a membership plus medication; TrimRx’s description says plans include medication and consultations.

What the last readable prices imply

Mochi’s September 20 page gave standing totals of $178 a month for semaglutide ($99 + $79 membership) and $278 for tirzepatide ($199 + $79). Its October page has moved to a $199 yearly membership ($17 a month) without a medication price, so the current total is unknown. TrimRx’s only October figures are “from” prices in page metadata, and in July its $179 headline was a first-month rate. Neither provider’s October pages let you total a year.

For reference on the same date: NexLife, our #1 overall (v4.1 score 94/100), charged $169 a month month to month and $139 a month on a 12-month plan for compounded tirzepatide, and Eden Health charged $129 a month with no membership, lower than NexLife. Every program we track is in the pricing database.

Mochi Health: who it fits

Mochi fits you if you want care and medication billed separately and can get the medication price in writing first. The annual membership is printed; the drug is not. Full Mochi Health review.

TrimRx: who it fits

TrimRx fits you only once you have seen its plan table and the month-two price. Its description says plans include medication and doctor consultations. Full TrimRx review.

Compounding status · October 15, 2026Compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide are not FDA-approved, are not generics, and are not the same products as Zepbound, Mounjaro, Wegovy or Ozempic. FDA’s shortage-era grace periods ended in 2025, so a pharmacy may compound them only for an individual patient whose prescriber documents a clinically significant difference from the approved drug. On September 18, 2026 FDA warned Empower Pharmacy that two of its GLP-1 products appeared to be essentially copies of approved drugs, and FDA has proposed keeping all three GLP-1s off the 503B bulks list (no final decision as of October 15). Background: is compounded GLP-1 legal?

Questions to ask both, in writing

  1. What is the compounded medication price at my dose, month one and month two?
  2. Mochi: is the medication billed monthly on top of the $199 yearly membership?
  3. TrimRx: which plan and medication does “from $179” refer to?
  4. Which pharmacy fills the prescription?

Frequently asked questions

Is Mochi Health or TrimRx cheaper?

Neither could be priced on October 15, 2026. Mochi’s page printed a $199 yearly membership but no compounded medication price, and TrimRx’s plan table did not render, leaving only a “Plans From $179/mo” title. Ask both for the month-two price at your dose before choosing.

What did Mochi Health charge before October?

On September 20, 2026 Mochi listed compounded semaglutide from $99 and tirzepatide from $199, plus a membership of $39 for the first month and $79 a month after, for standing totals of $178 and $278 a month. These are past prices.

Is TrimRx’s $179 a monthly price?

We cannot confirm it. In July 2026 TrimRx’s $179 was a first-month rate. On October 15, 2026 only the page title “Plans From $179/mo” and a promo page’s “starting at $199” were readable. Ask TrimRx for the month-two price before you pay.
