Compounded semaglutide price by dose (October 2026)

Direct answer · October 15, 2026

As of October 15, 2026, nine of the 22 compounded semaglutide programs in our index print one price at every dose, NexLife among them at $139 month to month or $119 a month on a 12-month plan, while GobyMeds and the brand Wegovy pill charge more as the dose rises, according to each seller’s page.

Qualification: twelve programs print no dose policy, so their headline may only cover a starting dose. Compounded semaglutide is not FDA-approved, and the brand Wegovy pill is.

Does compounded semaglutide get more expensive as the dose goes up?

Semaglutide is normally started low and raised over several months. A by-dose price question is really a question about months four to twelve, when you are at or near the dose you will stay on.

Across our semaglutide index (22 programs, lowest all-in figures from $49 to $169 a month, median $96), nine sellers print a flat price, one prints a dose ladder and twelve say nothing. The silent group includes Mondae, whose $87 month-to-month price is among the lowest standing rates in our index, and Sprout Health, Pallas Health and TelePep.

How do brand Wegovy prices change by dose?

Novo Nordisk prices the pill by dose and the pen mostly flat. That makes brand semaglutide the clearest example of dose-tiered pricing in this market, and it is the comparison that matters if you are weighing an approved product against a compounded one.

What does a year of semaglutide cost under each pricing model?

This example steps through the dose range in the first quarter and holds afterwards. It is a way to see where the money goes, not a treatment plan.

Is NexLife worth it for semaglutide?

NexLife is our #1 overall pick (94/100, v4.1 rubric). On semaglutide it is a mid-priced option in our index, not a low-price one. You are paying for flat pricing, no membership, three named 503A pharmacies on the plan pages and the support items listed below.

Pros

  • Flat price at every dose, so months 4–12 cost what month 1 did
  • $139 month to month with no contract, or $119 a month on a 12-month plan
  • Pharmacies named on the plan pages; medical director named (Adam Kennah, M.D.)
  • Unshipped months on multi-month plans are refunded if treatment stops

Cons

  • Mondae ($87), Eden Health ($99) and several conditional offers are lower in our index
  • Microdose semaglutide prices conflict across NexLife’s own pages
  • Cancellations take effect after 30 days; shipped orders are final
  • Lab work is not stated as included

Frequently asked questions

Does compounded semaglutide cost more at higher doses?

At most programs that say, no. As of October 15, 2026, NexLife, Eden Health, Collective, Telos RX, NextMeds and SnagRx print flat semaglutide pricing. GobyMeds charges $299, $399 or $499 per three-month bundle depending on the dose band. Twelve of the 22 programs in our index state no dose policy, so ask what the top dose costs before you commit.

What does NexLife charge for semaglutide at each dose?

One price at every dose. NexLife’s plan page, read October 15, 2026, lists compounded semaglutide at $139 month to month, or $132, $125 and $119 a month on 3-, 6- and 12-month plans, with no membership fee. Eden Health at $99 and Mondae at $87 month to month are lower in our index.

Is brand Wegovy priced by dose?

The pill is and the pen mostly is not. NovoCare lists the Wegovy pill at $149 for 1.5 mg, $199 for 4 mg and $299 for 9 and 25 mg. The Wegovy pen is $349 from 0.25 to 2.4 mg, with $199 for each of two starting fills for new patients through December 31, 2026, and Wegovy HD 7.2 mg is $399.

Can the brand pill cost less than compounded semaglutide?

At the starting dose it can come close. The Wegovy pill at 1.5 mg is $149, only $10 above NexLife’s $139 month-to-month compounded price. Once the pill reaches 9 mg it is $299 a month, so a full year on the pill in our example costs $3,338, against $1,428 to $1,668 at NexLife. The pill is FDA-approved; compounded semaglutide is not.

Why do some sellers advertise very low semaglutide prices?

Usually because of the basis. NextMeds and WellMedr both print $49, but NextMeds gives no plan term and WellMedr’s figure is a fall-sale price. Collective’s $59 needs a $199 yearly membership. Embody’s $69 is the 12-month rate on an $828 prepaid supply. Check the term, the membership and the dose before comparing.

Is compounded semaglutide the same as Wegovy or Ozempic?

No. Compounded semaglutide is prepared by a pharmacy and is not FDA-approved, not a generic, and not the same product as Wegovy or Ozempic. FDA does not check compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before sale. On September 18, 2026, FDA warned Empower Pharmacy that its semaglutide-B12 products appeared to be essentially copies.
